ReplyDeleteThere should be no guaranteed contracts and base salary should be reasonable with big performance incentives.

ReplyDeleteWith all respect to Joe Thornton, Mike Green is the worst playoff hockey player ever... Some guys are built for the playoffs (see: Max Talbot) others crumble over the difference in pressure and play. For the second straight year Green was slow, flat-footed, and muscled off the puck. Granted - He was not the reason they lost, just a major contributing donkey to the effort. What an unbelievable game. One of the top ten games I've ever watched.
